Well, you know I said we were going to the cinema? Well, we didn't in the end, but we did go to Sainsbury's to get chocolate and a movie. And guess what movie we got?
It's called THE HOLE, as you might have guessed, and it's a 12, so you people under 12 shouldn't watch it. It's also really quite scary....

It's about these two boys and their mum who move into this house, and the boys are called Dane and Lucas, and they meet their next door neighbor called Julia. Then, Lucas discovers this endless hole in their basement, and tells Dane and Julia and they decide to put a video camera down the hole, and watch the footage on the TV. So they do, and then, THEY don't see this cuz their mum comes home and they have to cover up the screen cuz they don't want to show their mum, but this eye comes up, and like I said they don't see it. And, they open up the hole, they unlock the locks which they were not supposed to do. And then, the three kids, their worst fears come to life, because they opened up the hole.
Lucas' worst fear is clowns,
Julia's is what happened with her best friend Annie when they were kids (i'll explain that later),
And Dane's worst fear is his dad coming back. (The boys' dad is in prison cuz he used to hit Dane and he was a drinker.)
So, one day, Lucas goes into his bedroom to find this creepy clown puppet thing on his bed, and he gets freaked out (his fear of clowns) so he puts it in Dane's bed to scare him. then he goes down to the basement and the puppet follows him and it winks, then they kind of have a fight cuz the puppet jumps on him, and eventually he throws it into a fan, and destroys it. And in another bit Dane and Julia go into the town to have a meal, then Julia goes to the toilets and she can hear crying coming from one of the stalls, so she looks under and she can see a pair of legs, one shoe on, one off, and then a splat of blood falls to the ground, Julia then goes to go out of the toilets, when the lights go out and this girl is walking(or rather, shuffling, cuz she walked funny and she had only one shoe on) towords her, and then the lights go on and people come in and the girl disappers.
When they get back to the boy's house they all go down to the basement (with Lucas) and see this young girl sitting in the corner, she turns round and cries a tear of blood and says, "I don't want to die," then she crawls into the Hole in a weird kind of way. They get a bit freaked out, it's weird. Then, the next day they go and see this man called Creepy Carl, on Julia's suggestion, who used to live in their house to see if he built the hole. He is really angry when he finds out that they have opened the Hole and tells them they are all, even him, going to be killed. Dane leaves his sketchbook with Carl, and all night Carl is drawing in it, then his lights start to pop out and he starts screaming, "I'm not done! I'M NOT DONE!" So the next day dane goes back to get his sketchbook and finds Carl gone. he takes it back home, and then he and Lucas go swimming in Julia's pool, and Dane doesn't go in, he's just looking at the sketchbook, trying to figure out the drawings. So he jumps in eventually but he sees the shadow of the clown puppet standing on the diving board but there's no-one there. Then, lucas is just lying on the lilo when he gets dragged under and can't get back up, and he gets really scared and Dane jumps in to pull him out and they get out of the pool, and Lucas says it was the puppet that pulled him down, there's no-one there but there's big muddy boot prints leading up to the house.
It's so weird. They follow them and they lead...guess where they lead to? You're probably right, but I'm not gonna tell you. Then later when Lucas is in bed, Dane goes to check on him, and he sees this little hand mark on his ankle. (lucas's not Dane's)
And then the NEXT day Dane realises that the drawings that Creepy Carl did mean something, but he doesn't know what, so he puts them together with Julia and they form a picture, of a big man standing in the hole holding a small boy in his hands. Then Dane goes, "Hey, that looks like Lucas..." And then, obviously, they realise what the picture is actually OF, and then...
HEY! Look at you, trying to find out the ending! Well, I'm not going to tell you anymore.
OOH! Fun Fact: Dane calls Creepy Carl 'Freaky Freddie' many times in the movie.
Anyway, it is SUCH a brilliant movie but DO NOT WATCH IT IF YOU'RE UNDER 12!!! IT WILL SCARE THE SNOT AND EVERYTHING ELSE OUT OF YOU!!!!
